Recently an American has started going out of his way to greet me when he sees me. Why?

The reason, in 2012 he cheated our firm n business and stole from us and clearly feels guilty. When I confronted him, he said that cheating and theft is just a part of business. For his business it sounds like that's the case. For us, we never cheat or steal as

You can never do business with them again
It's more fun to do the right thing.

It's very important to be happy and healthy in life and dealing with others but that doesn't mean you have to be greeted and cheated.

Avoid the liars and cheats to make sure you don't become like them and watch how your trust with your clients will grow.

Avoid the negative. It's easy to go that route. But being passionately positive will take you farther and keep you longer.

It's been an amazing 2014.  We've

-gained thousands of users in Japan.

-rolled out hundreds of new features on our iPBX Hosting Services.

-added more international users on QuickerWeb.com in African nations in finance and banking.

-our team has become proficient on more software and hardware solutions.

You can go on and on, but the most important thing is I think we've got the happiest company in Japan.  That happiness and professionalism translates into being able to take great care of our partner clients.

Thanks for a great 2013 and we look forward to an exciting 2014.  Let's work hard and work smart.

Saw police both uniformed and plain clothes along the street on the way back from lunch.  I had seen that before so I knew someone important was coming.

As I waited at the intersection (skipping the light change when I could have crossed) I looked down the street and saw more police along the road.  Then I saw the black cars.  It was the emperor.  I didn't take a picture as I didn't want to be tacky but added something for emphasis.

Always good to see people you see in the media in person.
